Work Conditioning is a program that allows the individual to improve their overall strength and conditioning to better meet the demands of their job.

Entrance into a work conditioning program is either:
  • After an injury has occured and the worker needs to improve strength and endurance to meet the job demands
  • Before an injury happens to prevent an overuse injury

We have also found that our Work Conditioning program is an appropriate option with severe injury cases if the client has difficulty with:

  • Tolerating the 4 hour minimum requirement for entrance into a work hardening program
  • Is failing a work hardening or pain clinic program and requires additional preparation

An employee that is stronger and in better physical shape is better able to withstand the physical stresses of the job and less likely to have an on the job injury.
